Partner Acrobatics for Performance

Service Description

Do you have a background in dance, gymnastics or another related field? Have you trained in partner acrobatics or acro yoga and want to learn how to put these skills on a stage? The Acro Performance Troupe is a group of select individuals over 18 years of age who have an interest in performing, whether it be casually at community events or striving towards the professional scene. The class runs for an 8-10 week term during which the troupe devises and rehearses a performance piece. At the end of each term they present it to a carefully selected local cause event that aligns with our ethos or on a stage that will give them experience in the professional performance scene. This term, we have been invited by a local arts and health business, Kaleido Company, to present a piece at their Fringe World Festival production, "80's Mixtape". If you are completely new to the acro scene we will always recommend a term of Intro to Partner Acrobatics which is the foundational class that leads into the performance troupe.
